In 2015 as a church we started supporting the staff of Guinebor II hospital in N'Djamena in Chad, through BMS World Mission.

BMS began working in Chad in 2010 when Andrea and Mark Hotchkin, both surgeons who had previously worked for ten years with BMS in Guinea, moved to N’Djamena, the capital. They are working at the new Guinebor II hospital where they are aiming to provide universal access to healthcare through vital surgical procedures.

Malc and Sue White joined the hospital in the summer of 2012. Sue is working alongside and helping to train the local nurses while Mark is responsible for the administration and finances of the hospital complex.

Claire Bedford served with BMS as a volunteer for a year in Chad from April 2013 and has now been accepted as a long term mission worker. She began training at IMC in September 2014 and once she has completed her training she hopes to go to Chad to continue the development of the pharmacy service at Guinebor II hospital.
